How does the process work?

3.	You email us an mp3 of your rough mix.
4.	We discuss the possibilities. After all, some mixes just need fine tuning. Others need much more. You decide.
5.	Fill out our Session Form. It's super easy.
6.	Send us your audio files or Pro Tools sessions. CD, DVD, FTP, yousendit… it's your choice.
7.	We mix your record and send you an mp3 for your comments.
8.	We work together to bring the final mix across the goal line.
9.	You are happy.

What about the "fine print?" Is there some kind of catch?

No, there's no catch, but we do have a few rules that help us give you the most bang for your buck.


• We mix alone in our private studios and electronically deliver the mix. This protocol eliminates many costs including travel, commercial studio rentals, assistant engineers, and liability insurance.

• The fee per mix varies with the complexity of the arrangement. The more moving parts, the more time it takes, and as we all know, time is money. Before we start, we discuss with you the best way to mix your songs to fit your budget. With years of mixing experience, we're able to quickly identify the most essential elements of a song and focus our attentions there to give you the best bang for your buck.

• Limited availability. Because we have continuing relationships with other labels and artists, we have a limited number of available dates per month. Rest assured, however, that when your mix is officially scheduled, it will not be "bumped" by a major label artist.

• You pay up front. When you pay, your job is put on the schedule. This is how we make sure your mix doesn't get bumped. We accept major credit cards so that you can have peace of mind while creatively managing your cash flow.

Prices

Prices vary depending on the complexity of the project. We are able to provide services to accommodate most budgets. Our sliding "indie" scale ranges from $500 to $2500 USD per mix, and $50 to $100 for mastering, per song. If you're broke, but brilliant and motivated, we'll happily tell you precisely how to optimize your pre-mix preparation to get the absolutely lowest price per song. Package deals for multiple mixes can also keep costs down by allowing us to streamline the process and reduce setup time.
